Pack Away Review

I was lucky enough to be chosen to try Packaways.  Packaways are reusable, collapsible, plastic storage boxes that come in four different colors: pink, blue, green, and white. There are several styles of the packaway: Classic, Tote and Under Bed.

These boxes were easy to use.  To create box you just have to press on opposing corners and the bottom will lock into place.  The one issue that I had with the boxes was that it did not lock well when the box was empty.  When there was weight inside the box everything worked perfectly.

I really enjoyed these Packaways.  They are green and reusable. I love that they fold up, I have a closet full of rubbermaids that are frumpy and take up too much room from after the move.  The main thing that I used these for was transporting my laundry back and forth from the laundry room at my apartment complex.  The handles are  nice for carrying, they can carry the weight of the clothes and when I was in line waiting for a washer I could hide my dirty clothes with the lid.

Please take a moment to like Packaways on facebook.

What I did for labor day...

Today I felt like I was so busy but it seems when getting ready to write it seems like so little.  My first project was to put together another raffle prize for the AIDSWalk raffle at my work.  I put in a total of five dollars and I will be adding two movie tickets from my works stash. The second popcorn will hold those two movie tickets once I pick them up from work.... I think it is a pretty decent raffle prize for only putting five bucks into it.... and the picture does not show it but there is glitter. Glitter makes everything worth more right?

The other thing that I was playing with today was creating my own paper.  I have stacks of newspaper that I have been looking to craft with.  I ended up putting together some screens and practicing with a purple seed paper. The seeds I used were chives.
I think it will dry a nice light color.... we will see.  I hope I love it.  If not this is a game in process.  What is your favorite craft using newspaper?

Weigh in Wednesday and What's for dinner

Today we weighed in (I am not sure what my current weight is, since I left my card at home, but she said I was down a pound, so I will take it.)

Tonight dinner was artichoke and olive ravioli in marinara sauce and oven roasted cauliflower and broccoli.

I have to gotten to the point that I need to start going through my freezer so today I looked and found a package of Rising Moon Artichoke and Olive Ravioli; one thing I love about these is that half of the package is 6 points plus.

In my pantry I also had some Sprouts Marinara Sauce; I usually get this sauce because it is 2 points plus per 1/2 cup, other sauces are around 3pp.

For the oven roasted cauliflower and broccoli I just pre heated the oven to 425 degrees and cut up fresh the cauliflower and broccoli.  I tossed it with a little bit of olive oil, garlic powder, crushed red peppers and black pepper.  Once coated I laid them out on a cookie sheet smashed some garlic cloves and put those on.  Then just put in the oven till desired.

Sorry about the photo quality I am still depending on my I touch for photos till I find my camera battery charger
